This international logistics company are looking for an accomplished LOGISTICS ADMINISTRATOR to join a fast-growing team based in Luton (Free parking)
This post is available now, so you can be in this new post before Christmas.
You will be part of a team of 4 in the sales office as the key contact responsible for receiving orders and enquiries from existing and new business/trade customers.
The team are sociable and collaborative, and the work is busy and engaging with lots of customer rapport.
As an experienced Sales Administrator, the work will be familiar to you;
* Delivering all aspects of customers service for customers including receiving phoned and emailed orders, processing tickets, quotation generation and technical enquiries
* Liaising with the dispatch team both pre and post shipment to ensure they are capable of meeting the delivery requirements of the customer
* Placing purchase orders and working with suppliers to ensure delivery times are met
* Advising and suggesting products to meet customer needs
* Control re-ordering levels with regular customers and opening new accounts.
As our ideal person for this vacancy you will:
* Have the ability to interact and communicate with customers professionally at all times
* Have experience working within a busy office environment
* Have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Have the willingness to 'get stuck in' – this is a small team and help each other
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is preferable
