Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 DOE
A lovely opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career and gain their CIPS qualification.
The main duties of the role are as follows: –
* Find and add new approved suppliers to the purchasing system
* Obtain quotes for price and lead time from approved suppliers
* Negotiate pricing and lead time to meet purchasing targets
* Load purchase orders
* Ensure orders are confirmed by Suppliers within lead time, quantity and to price
* Progress vendors in advance to ensure on time delivery
* Mange any material non-conformances with suppliers
Ideally you will have previously worked in Buying/Purchasing/Procurement or Supply Chain role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
The key criteria are to have good office skills with a desire to progress your career and be willing to undertake the CIPS qualification.
