My client is seeking an experienced senior Commercial Property lawyer to join their successful and highly regarded Real Estate team, with a blend of office and home working available based around client and business need in Exeter, Devon.
This is a superb opportunity for an ambitious and capable senior lawyer to play a key role in the delivery of our growth strategy for Commercial Property across the business.
What you'll do
In this challenging and varied role, you will play a crucial role in growing and developing the Commercial Property, and wider Real Estate team. Based from their Exeter office, you will be leading on matters directly whilst supervising junior members (who may be based elsewhere), and sharing work across the region in collaboration with the wider commercial property team.
Your focus will be to deliver exceptional client service, working with colleagues to strengthen the skills needed at each level to ensure their clients receive all the support they need, when they need it. As part of our growth strategy for Real Estate, you will be actively involved in recruiting and retaining your team, supporting their development and ensuring they enhance their technical skills over time.

In your current work, you will be a strong business developer, able to engage with new clients whilst expanding existing relationships as a trusted business advisor.
You do this by readily understanding the commercial context of your clients and appreciate the importance of supporting them with relevant advice at the right moment. You will have already worked hard to begin building your profile in the region, and are positive and active in engaging with a variety of business development opportunities within the region's commercial property network.
You will possess strong communication and rapport building skills, with the resilience to work under pressure by organising yourself effectively to meet deadlines as needed. Being tenacious, thorough and attentive to detail whilst appreciating the 'bigger picture' for your clients, you take pride in the high standards of your work.
