Personal Injury Paralegal / Trainee Fee Earner – Exeter
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18000 – £23000/annum
A dynamic and progressive Law Firm who are committed to providing a high level of client care are seeking a Personal Injury Paralegal / Trainee Fee Earner.
The successful candidate will be part of a busy Claimant Personal Injury Department which handles a wide variety of Personal Injury Claims including road traffic accidents, accidents at work and public liability claims.
They will assist the team with their caseloads including high value/catastrophic cases, will have client contact assisting with document preparation and case management and it is hoped that with appropriate training, they will also have the opportunity to run their own caseload of Personal Injury cases. Assisting with business development will also be expected.
Skills Required:
* Paralegal or Trainee Fee Earner with some experience in Personal Injury Claims.
* Law graduate (desirable)
* Have a technical and procedural knowledge of running Personal Injury cases.
* IT literate with a good knowledge and high degree of competency in the use of Microsoft Word and with possible experience of a case management system and of using online portals
* Excellent organisational skills with acute attention to detail
* Strong administration with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Professional appearance and manner
* Flexible and able to use own initiative and requiring limited guidance
* A motivated self-starter and good team player
* Able to remain calm under pressure whilst working to multiple deadlines
* Have an interest in business development.
