Salary : £30000 – £60000/annum

My client is searching for a Solicitor – Wills, Trusts and Executries to join their Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh offices.

The Role

My client currently has an opportunity for a Solicitor to join their busy Private Client department. The Private Client team has an enviable reputation and wishes to recruit a talented, enthusiastic and motivated Solicitor who will be able to manage their own caseload.

My clients approach to hybrid working allows employees a blend of working from home as well as in our office in Edinburgh.

The successful candidate can expect to be involved in working on:

• Drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney
• Executory administration
• Trust creation and administration
• Tax planning
• Guardianship applications and General Private Client business.

Key Responsibilities

The type of work is broad ranging, stimulating and often innovative. The successful candidate will also be involved in the preparation and delivery of research and training from time to time and in networking activities generally. Commercial awareness is essential.

Experience Required

Applicants should have the relevant post qualifying experience (4years+ PQE), preferably gained within a similarly reputable Private Client department.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Ideally, the successful applicant will have achieved STEP Membership or be willing to work towards achieving this accreditation.
