An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Solicitor to join my Client who are a top 45 law firm with offices throughout the UK. My Client are looking to recruit a Social care Solicitor to join their Casualty team.
The team offers a full, expert service in defending employers and public liability claims including workplace, public sector and claims against the emergency services.
Responsibilities
Associate/Principal Associate level
Handling range of complex and sensitive cases on behalf of local authorities
In the main the claims cover:
Social care
Safeguarding and child protection
Human rights
Defamation
Data protection
Supervising junior colleagues and providing technical support
Assisting Partners on providing training to clients
Attending meetings with clients
Achieve set hours and billing targetsPerson Specifics
Previous experience of managing own caseload of multi track claims involving complex liability issues
Knowledge of social care claims/HRA desirable
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Excellent team working skills
Excellent IT skills
Flexible approach
Ability to work on own and as part of a team
