IT Support Technician. Our global manufacturing client are looking for a IT Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. IT Support Technician duties include:
* Be the first point of contact for IT issues. Take ownership of IT issues and follow them through to ensure they are complete even if passed to another colleague in the IT team.
* Work within a virtual team to provide support to staff around the global with IT issues escalating where necessary to other teams.
* Support local systems such as servers, storage telecoms and networking.
* Monitor the availability of global systems through existing portals and log/resolve/escalate issues.
* Providing technical assistance and training to computer users on the application software, hardware and computer services.
IT Support Technician skill & experience
* Experience in an phone based, IT Support role
* Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems.
* Experienced in 1st & 2nd line Support as standard
* Must have good problem solving and customer service skills
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, permanent days
