Job Role:
The company ownership recently transferred to a global presence and leader in the European food industry and is rapidly expanding in the UK. To keep with their rapid growth, our client is looking for an IT Infrastructure/System Engineer to strengthen their team.

The right candidate will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level support through ITSM platform, troubleshoot system, network and hardware/software problems and support IT projects. You will manage the deployment of PCs, smart phones and handheld scanners and the creation, administration and deactivation of system users as well as provide Office 365 and email administration.
General Responsibilities & Tasks
1st and 2nd level support requests through ITSM platform
PC deployment, handout, and stock management
Troubleshoot system, network and hardware/software problems implementing a systematic approach to the resolution
Handheld scanner deployment, handout, and stock management
Smartphone deployment, handout, and stock management
User creation, administration, deactivation
Email administration
Office365 administration
Create and update documentation
Fulfill deployment phase of IT projects
Adhere to the company’s hygiene, Environment, Health and Safety policies, systems and safe working practices
Maintain and promote a clean and tidy working environment and undertake housekeeping duties
Carry out any reasonable request as requested by any member of management within the reasonable scope of the role, and look to develop cost saving initiatives where possible.
