Salary : £10 – £11/hour

The primary responsibility of the Inventory Department is to maintain stock integrity. The primary role is to ensure that all stock is accounted from receipt throughout storage period, to final delivery. This is achieved through the monitoring of a perpetual inventory schedule. Comparing the physical stock holdings and the system stock holdings, while investigating and solving any discrepancies between the two. The Inventory department plans, prepares and controls all official stock takes. Department must maintain necessary quality service by following organization standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete cycle count investigations – All discrepancies found on cycle counts are to be checked against outstanding picks and current locations. Inventory transactions to be interpreted and the discrepancy is to be solved or accounted for.
* Ensure stock is in correct location and area.
* Complete daily KPI reports.
* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
* Manage customer returns from the point of collection through to receipt at the warehouse.
* Maintain safe and clean work enviroment , complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Key Skills and Requirements
* Have a broad knowledge of warehouse operations.
* The polite and effective handling of customers.
* Good telephone manner.
* PC skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Able to deal with difficult staff and/or situations.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
