Our client operates mainly, but not exclusively, in the professional sports sector where it works with stadium and arena owners to help maximise the impact and commercial value of brand relationships and sponsorships. Our client’s customers are known worldwide and their work is often seen by a global audience.
They have built a strong reputation for the quality of their work and the ability to respond quickly to requests in what is a fast-moving and dynamic sector.
The rapid growth of the business over the last three years has resulted in the need for a strengthening of their senior leadership team and they are now recruiting for a Head of Finance.
This role will involve preparation of:
* Financial forecasts
* Annual statutory account
* Annual budget
* Monthly reports
* Management accounts for the Directors of the business
The successful candidate will also be expected to oversee procurement and stock management systems, ensuring supplier costs are managed and production is maintained at the most cost-effective levels.
Skills & Experience required.
* Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with at least 2 years PQE. Part qualified may be considered subject to experience
* Strong negotiation and excellent management skills
* Excellent communicator, with a high level of numeracy and literacy in English
* Excellent time keeping and ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent computer and administration skills – proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills
* Experienced within Xero, QuickBooks
Office hours: 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday
