Salary : £20972 – £26767/annum shift allowence
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Attendant to provide security and handyperson services for its location at Invergowrie, Dundee.
A full driving licence is essential, and applicants would be required to live within a maximum of a 10-mile radius of Invergowrie. The role is predominately based in Dundee but may require occasional travel to other sites.

Responsibilities
To provide a security and out of hours 'first' person contact service for the Institutes Invergowrie site.
To provide handyperson provision within the Estates team.
To adhere to a shift, on call and alternate weekend working system (reflected in the salary)
Ensure buildings are secure out with normal working hours and accessible to staff during normal and out of hours times.
Attend any security/fire issues that may occur out of hours and liaise with members of the public, staff and the emergency services.
Ensure utility services and identified vulnerable equipment are maintained and contact key staff if a problem arises.
Assist members of the Estates department where required, including handyperson related tasks.
Driving duties as and when required.
Provide the company with First Aid cover, out with normal working hours.Requirements

General building maintenance
Security Guarding Work
Relevant building trade skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
