By working in partnership with barely producers, you will provide them with solutions to a variety of issues they have.
What does the role entail?
You will lead the business development function within the business and obtain funding to support the growth of the institution.
Working closely with the Research Director, you will form a strategy on how to move the business forward and encourage new clients to utilise the incredible services they offer.
you will also work in partnership with stakeholders within the supply chain to identify sector demand.
International travel is a key part of this role, giving you the opportunity to travel to parts of the world you might not have had the chance to see previously!
What do I need to be successful?
Business development or commercial experience is required for this role.
Due to the sector this role is in, a working knowledge of both national and international barley sector is needed.
Sales experience within the malting barely sector would give you the a strong basis to be successful.
A background or knowledge in crop science would be beneficial in order to provide expert knowledge to clients.
