External Communications Manager
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £51 – £56/hour
External Communications Manager (Tech experienced needed)- London- 12 Months- £51-£56 ph PAYE
A global technology company are looking for an experienced External Communications Manager to join their team on an initial 12 month assignment. The successful candidate will partner with communication teams to help drive positive press coverage.
Responsibilities:
Ensure tight coordination between comms team and international communications teams on all plans and activities
Coordinate the dissemination of communications plans, materials, and assets to APAC, EMEA, and LATAM comms teams
Coordinate demo hardware delivery + setup for APAC, EMEA, LATAM comms team (incl. directly to press as needed)
Update all relevant calendars, timelines, lookaheads, strategy documents, etc. on a regular basis
Participate in strategy and coordination meetings
Serve as a general resource to APAC, EMEA, LATAM comms teams
Build out self-serve resources for APAC, EMEA, LATAM comms teams to find comms plans, materials, assets and to request demo hardwareSkills/ Experience:
4+ years experience in a similar role
Experience working in a tech company
Exceptional project management and coordination skills
Experience in the communications field
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Experience doing press office
Comfortable with ambiguity
