If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client's team as an Event Director on an initial 9-month contract, with potential permanent opportunities awaiting the right candidate.

Role Overview:

As the Event Director, you'll be responsible for steering the events towards success by ensuring alignment with our expectations and brand guidelines. Your strategic prowess will be crucial in managing profit and loss performance, developing and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue through exhibition stand space sales, sponsorships, and partnerships.

Your insights will shape attendee experiences, and your ability to understand key market segments will propel our business direction. You'll lead a dedicated team, collaborate closely with key stakeholders, and contribute to the planning and execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Working and aligning the operations, marketing, and sales teams

* Align the events with brand image and target market

* Oversee profit and loss performance and financial forecasting Develop and maintain client relationships, generating revenue

* Enhance attendee and stakeholder experiences through insights Lead and develop a high-performing team

* Collaborate with key stakeholders for a successful event execution

* Contribute to sales and marketing strategy planning Identify competitive strengths and weaknesses for continuous improvement

Required Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience in large-scale event management

* Strong relationship management skills

* Exceptional organisational and detail-oriented approach

* Resourceful in securing new business and sponsorships

* Team player with effective management ethics

* Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone Customer-centric mindset

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
