We have an exciting opportunity available for a Communications Partner to join our team. In this flexible role, you can work from wherever is best for you but there will be occasions where you'll need to attend our hubs and offices. You will join us on a full time, 12 month fixed term contract, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £32,078  per annum plus benefits.

What you’ll be doing as our Communications Partner:

Managing multiple projects at any one time, providing communications consultancy to colleagues under guidance from the senior communications leadership team

Assisting in the delivery of Aster’s internal and external communications across its internal, public relations, public affairs, corporate, social and customer communications activities

Creating and implementing creative communications plans on a range of subjects with the approval of line management

Researching, writing and editing copy to provide engaging content for a range of digital and traditional channels for example press releases, social content, media statements, internal stories

Working with the Head of Brand and brand partners to create well designed, engaging creative collateral and multi-media content

Handling day to day media enquires with the guidance of the senior communications leadership team

Building strong relationships with colleagues at all levels across the business and operating confidently and independently

Utilising existing stakeholder communications channels and tools, and developing new ways to create engagement both internally and externally

Providing out-of-hours communications cover on a rotation basis

Keeping up-to-date with changes in communications and the sector to support the continued development of the Communications team and service

Various administrative support activities to include collating information for reporting key performance outcomes and measures

What we’re looking for in our Communications Partner:

At least 2-3 years of experience working across the communications mix including media, social and digital content

Evidence of developing, implementing and evaluating communication plans and campaigns under guidance, across different communications disciplines

Proven ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally
