Our Client is a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy looking to expand their Technical Administration Team with the appointment of a Document Controller.

The position would suit either an experienced Document Controller or an experienced Office Administrator looking to enhance their skillsets and find new challenges. The position could be based within their building services design teams in either Nottingham or Leeds office.

Main Responsibilities

Working alongside the Office Manager, you will be provide support to the MEP Design Engineers and Revit Technicians in a collaborative office environment. Compiling, reviewing, and maintaining project data and documentation in accordance with quality standards, company procedure and to ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001:2015.

Distribution of drawings and specifications to clients ensuring both internal systems and Common Data Environments are updated accordingly.

Main Duties

* Being a proactive member of the team to ensure deadlines are met.

* Documenting design information.

* Undertaking administrative checks and reviews of documents.

* Presentation and distribution of drawings and specifications.

* The compilation, review, and maintenance of project data.

* Issuing document via Common Data Environments such as 4Projects (4P), Conject and Aconex.

Skills and Abilities

* Enthusiastic and proactive.

* Able to work as part of a team and autonomously.

* Keen eye for detail.

* Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (Common Data Environments (CDE’s).

* Organised, with good time management skills.

* Computer literate, Strong PC/IT skills including MS Office, predominately Excel and Outlook.

* Good work ethic.

Experience

* Recognised work experience as a Document Controller / Office Administrator or similar role.

* Previous experience of Quality Assurance and documentation control systems.

* An understanding of the Construction Industry and of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 would be advantageous.

Schedule

* 40 Hour week, working Monday to Friday 8am -5pm Monday to Friday inclusive with 1 hour break for lunch.

* Based in our Nottingham Office or Leeds Office.
