Our client is a leading and prestigious road haulage company based in Norfolk specialising in warehousing & distribution & international freight shipping. Due to their continued growth and development, they are seeking to employ Customer Account Administrators for their site in Snetterton.
These are on going temporary positions potentially leading to permanent for the right candidate.
Hours are Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm
(Candidates will be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays however, day off in the week given) and also the occasional early starts 6am – 2.30pm.
Essential requirements:
Education: GCSE English and Maths
Training: Internal training on business process and customers
Skills: Attention to detail, excellent communicator, customer service, organised, effective time management, Microsoft office
Experience: Customer Service and office administrative duties
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Build and maintain professional relationships with customers including assisting with queries and investigating and responding to complaints
Understand the scope and requirements of customers individual service packages and ensure accounts are serviced in line with those requirements
Ensure charge sheets are raised for additional work not included in the agreed service package
Correctly prioritise customer requests to ensure smooth and timely service delivery on each account
Liaise with customers and operations to process returned and non-conforming stock in a timely manner, including the completion and submission of the appropriate forms required by the Quality Management System
Manage the administrative support required for intakes, picking (including replenishment of pick faces) and dispatches of stock in an efficient and timely manner
Ensure all stock movements and adjustments are recorded accurately on the company’s Warehouse Management System
Maintain neat and organised electronic/paper files and working environment
Provide stock reports as required by the customer
Complete all monitoring and recording forms as required by the business
Maintain effective communication with operations enabling them to adjust to increases in service demand or unplanned changes in service delivery
When necessary, liaise with hauliers and couriers to facilitate the transport of incoming or outgoing stock
Work as part of a team and cross train on other customer accounts and the weighbridge to support the provision of cover during periods of staff absence
Work outside core office hours when required to support the provision of cover for the office and weighbridge and for stock taking duties
Contribute to continuous improvement
Any other duties that may reasonably be expected by the business
