We have a Credit Control position required for a highly successful distribution company based in Poole! Offering a great Salary and benefits!
This role is offered on either a full time or part time basis.
The Workshop are delighted to be working with a well-established company who are leaders in the supplying products and services to the luxury end market place.
They require a permanent Credit Controller to be responsible for a ledger of UK and foreign accounts, building a professional rapport with customers and managing their financial interactions with the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the role:
* Chasing customers for payment over the phone and in writing
* Following up on payment agreements
* Releasing orders, reviewing credit holds and corresponding customer contact
* Reviewing and determining credit limits
* Keeping the ledger tidy by reconciling accounts and allocating payments
* Responding to queries and chasing up the resolution of queries with other departments
* Setting up new customer accounts and other credit department admin
* General departmental administrative tasks
* Liaise with all internal departments and managers to ensure efficient communication
* Adherence to the Company 'Health and Safety’ procedures at all times
* Any other additional duties as may be required from time to time as requested by your line manager and/or the Company

You will need to have previous credit control experience with an empathic approach and the ability to work as part of a small team.
Experience of Oracle accountancy software would be advantageous as well as an additional European language skill although neither of these are essential.
