Position: Commercial Insurance Sales Advisor

Location: Poole

Salary: up to £35,000pa to including additional pay: Bonus scheme and Commission pay

Hours: Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm

As a Commercial Insurance Sales Advisor you will be joining my client at an exciting time as they are growing which will give a fantastic opportunity to build an excellent career.

The Role

To provide commercial insurance advice to business clients on the most suitable levels of cover to cater for their individual business needs. Using a mix of warm leads and self-generated pipeline you will provide quotations and aim to convert those quotations into new policies sold to help achieve agreed sales plans and business objectives.

You will be a strong team player working as part of a fun, enthusiastic, and eager team who consistently and continuously deliver first-class service, you will be expected to follow in the footsteps of some of the most successful employees of the business. You must have a confident, and outgoing approach with our clients, so first impressions are key! Ideally, you will have experience of working in a target-based or fast-paced environment with a focus on performance.

Responsibilities:

Identifying through open questions a clients insurance needs
Provide a knowledge-based quotation based on the business needs
Engaging and managing client expectation liaising between the client and underwriters
Building future relationships with underwriters
Work with the Sales Manager on converting the pipeline of quotes and opportunities.
Hitting agreed revenue targets.
