Client Accountant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum
NLB Solutions are working with a property business that are looking to recruit for a Client Accountant in the head office. The business like people that worked in either property management businesses or have experience of working for accountancy practices where they have worked on producing financial statements and bookkeeping. The company offer progression, training and study support for individuals that want to develop.
The business offer a number of teams where they can see direct lines of growth, with managers that offer the support to get the individuals progress through the business. The company have continued to expand throughout the pandemic and now look forward to more accelerated growth.
Duties:
* Service charge accounts – statutory accounts (trading or otherwise)
* HMRC documentation/filing – preparation, coordination, and finalisation of Accounts
* Liaison and coordination with external parties including auditors, directors, property owners
* Prepare, finalise and coordinate accounts for lost sites in accordance with agreed process
* Other accounting services (including but not limited to: integration of new sites; VAT reporting; budgets; adhoc reporting)
* Resolution of queries from internal and external stake holders
* Internal reporting to ensure integrity and timely delivery of agreed reporting requirements
* External reporting to ensure integrity and timely delivery of reporting
Person Spec:
* Bookkeeping experience – good understanding of accounting principles
* 2 years experience of working in accountancy or financial environment – ideally professional accountancy
* Ideally AAT, ACCA or CIMA background
