Who are you?
You are a team player:
You are clean, tidy, on time and raring to go. As a chef you will be happy to work in all areas of the kitchen from pot wash to plating up, you understand the kitchen only works when everyone works together.
You are organised:
There’s a lot going on, deliveries, prep lists, the printer just keeps printing tickets and the customers are hungry. You are the one smiling and thriving on the buzz of a busy day. When there is a bit of downtime you can always find something to clean or organise.
You are Committed & Curious:
For you it’s all about getting it right for the customer and your team, you pay attention when you are learning something new and ask questions when you are not sure. You are committed to your own professional development and want to go far (we can help with that).
Food is your thing and you love it!
What’s Essential?
* You will either be already working in a restaurant and events environment as a Chef looking for an opportunity to step up, or you will be working at a high level in a smaller venue looking to expand your responsibilities and experience.
* The Hotel is located in a beautiful area, but unfortunately that means you most likely need your own transport, unless you live in our low-cost staff accommodation.
* Being a Chef is hard work and they operate seven days a week from early morning until quite late at night, so flexibility is key. This will include working weekends and Christmas.
