Remedicare are currently recruiting for a Chef for our clients residential and nursing home in the Gosport Area!
We are searching for competent and passionate chefs to join our team and guarantee that the kitchen runs efficiently and effectively, always striving to be the best and providing the best dining experience. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and possess great communication skills. You will be hands-on with a keen eye for detail, delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities?
As Chef on duty, you will be a part of a dedicated team. Preparing and cooking high quality meals, assisting Kitchen Assistants and Home Manager in menu planning. The Chef must ensure Residents with special dietary needs receive attractive, appropriate and varied meals.
* Menu planning.
* Help clean and organise kitchen and equipment.
* Prepare food items in a timely and sanitary manner.
* Adhere to all food hygiene and safety regulations.
* Follow recipe and presentation guidelines.
* Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Restock items as needed while on shift.
* Maintain a clean workstation while following health and safety guidelines.
* Recording food temperature.
Role Requirement:
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Flexibility to fulfil the requirements of residents.
* Experience in a similar environment.
* Ensure compliance with current Dietary, Food Safety, and EHO standards.
* Passionate about cooking.
