GSL Education is looking for a Catering Assistant for a client school in Enfield to start working from ASAP. The position requires the candidate to work from 9am – 2pm and 5 days a week (hours can be altered by half hour, start later, finish later)
As a catering assistant you will be looking over all kinds of catering service including food preparation, service and hygiene and other duties associated with the running of the school kitchen units.
 
Key responsibilities and tasks:

Basic food preparation
Chopping veg and making salads
Helping Chef and Sous chef with any other catering needs
Maintain high levels of hygiene and comply with all food hygiene regulations
Carrying out basic food preparation, serving meals to children and staff, washing up and cleaning the kitchen and dining room
Keep servery and retails areas tidy and clean
Have an enhanced DBS 
The successful candidate will possess:
