Part Time potentiality the end of the academic year!
My client is a popular school part of a large academy trust based on the outskirts of Grantham, they are a very popular, mixed school with strong academic results!
They also offer excellent facilities and place significant emphasis on creating a stimulating environment in which to learn.
Due to a planned absence they require a suitably qualified Business Studies/Economics Teacher to work with Post 16 students 3 days per week to start immediately with the potential to last the full academic year. The role will encompass planning and marking as required, you will be delivering the BTEC National Extended Level 3 Certificate!
To be considered you should be able to offer the following:
Passionate about education and pupils learning development and progress
Knowledge of the BTEC Curriculum and standards for Business
An engaging personality and teaching style
Has high expectations
Able to build a strong rapport with the pupils and communicate effectively
Team player
To be considered you must have:
PGCE qualified or equivalent
Full UK QTS/QTLS
2 Years of traceable work/study references
Recent classroom experience as a Business Studies/Economics Teacher working with Post 16 students
Fully Enhanced DBS, registered on the DBS Update Service or be prepared to purchase a new one
Dedication
Applications are welcome from experienced Business Studies Teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECT) but you must have experience delivering Business/Economics to a high standard.
