Role Summary
The right candidate will be responsible for the designs, builds, tests, deploys and supports business solutions that meet business and technical requirements and align with the Global BPD documents.
key areas of responsibility
Role Description:
Develop, unit test and support BI solutions in line with ICT standards.
Provide user training on the Power BI and SSRS reporting platforms.
Take note and resolve any issues, defects, new reports and enhancement requests using the Azure DevOps framework and maintain these up to date.
Ability to troubleshoot queries/issues that arise and resolve them in a timely manner.
Support the development, test and production BI environments.
Constantly monitoring of the BI ETL metadata & operational framework ensuring that the Live BI reporting platform is readily available to the business and kept refreshed in line with agreed refresh times.
Adopt and ensure good BI and data governance across the organization.
Promote and adhere to master data management principles ensuring data integrity across the BI platform.
Learn the business risks, issues and interdependencies and how these areas are addressed and/or mitigated by BI and share these with business stakeholders during training and knowledge share.
Keep up to date on the new BI trends and technologies to promote innovative solutions within our existing governance framework
Key requirements
Minimum three years' experience in a similar BI analyst or data analytical role.
Experience with ERP finance applications
Experience with Infor M3 and Movex ERP finance applications
Technical competence in Microsoft data analytics & BI tools such as: SQL server (SS), SS Integration Services (SSIS), SS Reporting Services, Power BI service, Power BI desktop, Power BI gateway configuration, MS Visual Studio, MS Visual code, Github source control, Azure Dev Ops.
Experience with (workspaces, apps, analyze in excel).
Experience in development across a multi-environment platform such as Dev-Test-Production).
Excellent knowledge of SQL relationship database query language.
Knowledge of ETL/ELT logical architectures.
Proficiency with Power BI DAX, M languages.
