Salary : £24 – £27/hour

A Vectorworks proficient Architectural Technician is required to join a RIBA chartered architectural practice based in Brent, London on a 6 month contract.

The award winning, people inspired studio has been designing and delivering projects within the commercial, residential & educational sectors for over 20 years. Design led with a passion for construction & a growing reputation for delivering high quality residential development projects with an acute attention to detail. Projects range in size from pop-up pavilions to full city blocks with a diverse set of programmes and stakeholders. The studio features a collaborative and inclusive attitude that encourages all projects to be approached as a team effort.

The ideal Architectural Technician will be proficient with Vectorworks and be well versed in technical detailing. You will be working on a large co-living residential scheme based in London so will need an indepth knowledge of London planning policies.

Architectural Technician Requirements:

Relevant Architectural Qualification
Min 2 years UK experience delivering residential projects – Essential
Excellent level of design and technical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Good level of knowledge for construction detailing and ability to resolve construction related queries.
Proficiency with VectorWorks – Essential
Understanding of BIM implementation process for coordination purpose
3D modelling, Vectorworks scheduling and basic IFC data management
Experienced in delivering tender and construction 2D & 3D detail packages

You will also receive a highly competitive hourly rate of pay depending on suitability and experience, likely to be between £24 – £27 per hour based on 37 hours per week.
