About Us:

Academics are working with a 2 form entry Primary School, who are seeking an EYFS Lead who pride themselves on fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children thrive.

The Early Years Team, are a dedicated team of educators who are committed to providing high-quality early years education that sets the foundation for lifelong learning. With a focus on creativity, exploration, and play-based learning, we ensure that every child's unique needs are met, setting them up for success in school and beyond.

Role:

As our Early Years Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience of our youngest learners. You will lead a team of passionate early years educators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of outstanding teaching and learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing a curriculum that promotes holistic development, creativity, and curiosity
Leading by example in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all children
Collaborating with parents, guardians, and external agencies to support children's individual needs and aspirations
Monitoring and assessing children's progress, providing timely feedback, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement
Keeping abreast of the latest research and best practices in early years education, and incorporating them into our school's ethos

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with significant experience in early years education
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams
A deep understanding of child development theories and approaches in early years education
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
A genuine passion for ensuring every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey
