Clear Engineering are working closely with one of Europes leading businesses in the field of Building Management Systems (BMS). Specializing in delivering innovative solutions across various sectors, they are at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. I am currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated BMS Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to multiple large scale critical projects across the UK.
As a BMS Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge BMS solutions that enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and performance of their clients' facilities. With a focus on Data Centre projects, you will be exposed to some of the largest projects of it's kind across Europe, allowing you to grow and expand your skillset.
Responsibilities:
System Design: Develop detailed design specifications for Building Management Systems, considering client requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive engineering documentation, including system architecture diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel layouts.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electrical engineers, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of BMS solutions.
Customization: Customize BMS solutions based on specific client needs and project requirements.
Testing and Commissioning: Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of BMS installations to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide technical support, and offer solutions to enhance their building automation systems.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in BMS to contribute to the continuous improvement of our solutions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in BMS design, implementation, and commissioning.
Strong proficiency in BMS software tools and programming languages.
Excellent understanding of HVAC, lighting, and other building automation systems.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Professional certifications in BMS or related fields are a plus.
