Role: Large Format Printer / Finisher
Hours: 9am-5pm
Location: Reading
Salary: £27K-£32K + overtime opportunities
This role is for a Large Format Printer / Finisher within the production department of a well-established business, who through recent success are looking to grow their team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities (training provided where needed):
* Operating Large format Vutek and Oce Arizona machinery.
* Zund cutting and routing – Cutting prints to size
* Laminating
* Mounting and laying up of vinyl's to various substrates
* Mounting large vinyl's to substrates with wrapped edges
* Banner making with taped hems and eyelets
* Matic stitching machine – silicone edging to fabric
* Vinyl cutting on plotter, weeding etc
* Assisting with all day to day tasks
* Material preparations
Candidate Experience:
* Experience with operating large format printers including the Oce Arizona.
* Experience with large format finishing including Zund /Kongsberg Cutters, as well as laminating, mounting, various hand finishing.
* Methodical and thorough
* Ability to work unaided and as part of a team
* Practical, hard-working and confident
* Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Has their own car and can drive
