We are one of the UK’s leading ‘one stop shop’ specialists in the design and manufacture of retail fixtures, retail displays, shop displays, and display units and all within an 80,000 square feet state of the art factory.

Working with major high street retailers this is an exciting opportunity to join our busy design team in an expanding pos/retail design and manufacturing company based in Letchworth Herts.

Due to increased workload we are looking to employ a 3D CAD/Development Designer. Candidates should ideally have strong design and technical skills, be proficient in a 3D package such as Autodesk Inventor/Solidworks, and have a thorough knowledge of materials and processes including steel fabrication, sheet metalwork, joinery and plastic fabrication.

• Flexible working – combination of home and office working and flex start/finish times possible.

Role: Key skills of the role are:

·To design and develop cost effective solutions for manufacture.

·To create workable designs for manufacture whilst maintaining the original design intent.

·To produce drawings from quotation sketches, through to fully specified manufacturing drawings suitable for production.

· Assist in managing projects throughout the entire manufacturing process.

· To attend meetings both on site, or at clients/suppliers premises as required.

· Strong attention to detail

· The ability to manage own projects to tight deadlines is essential.

· Experience in Solidworks/Autodesk Inventor Software

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.30
