A small, reputable consultancy specialising in residential renovations for inclusive housing and specific requirements are now requiring a Junior Architectural Technologist to join their team. They will be based out of the head office in Hertfordshire.
Junior Architectural Technologist Role
The successful junior Architectural Technologist will have a relevant degree in architecture
Previous experience in Residential builds is highly preferred.
You will be required to support senior building surveyors and architectural technologists.Your primary responsibility will be to produce technical drawings in AutoCAD for inclusive housing, experience or knowledge of design for those with disabilities highly preferred.
Further responsibilities include:
SketchUp or any other 3D software experience preferred
Contract administration or JCT contracts preferred
Preparing written specifications
Site meetings
Measured site surveys
Own vehicle for site travel (petrol subsidised)Hours: 8-5
