Design Engineer – £35,000-£40,000 + Benefits– Ascot, Berkshire
The Role
Do you possess experience in a design team environment? Eager to craft cutting-edge solutions for the pro-audio industry?
As our Design Engineer, you'll transform client briefs into tangible, high-quality designs, constantly innovate our product range, and ensure the technical accuracy of all drawings. This is a pivotal role, ensuring our products not only look good but function at their peak.
Key Responsibilities:
* Originate designs based on client specifications.
* Draft comprehensive, detailed drawings for production.
* Conceptualise and present design renders.
* Evaluate the functional performance of products.
* Update and modify designs per client requests.
* Collaborate closely with suppliers for item specification.
* Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of components and assemblies.
* Test, evaluate, and analyse pertinent design data.
* Craft assembly guides and user manuals.

The Person
* BSc or B.Eng degree in Design Engineering, Product Design, or Industrial Design.
* Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience in a design team environment is preferred.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks, SolidWorks Visualize, and AutoCAD.
* Deep understanding of design techniques and materials, including precision sheet metal design, CNC machining (wood & metal), 3D printing, and exemplary technical writing abilities.
