Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from an Industrial / Engineering product design background looking for an autonomous and varied role where you will produce designs for new and existing products within a specialist Manufacturer who are known for their family culture who offer a company-wide bonus scheme to increase your earnings?
This company are a well-established specialist manufacturer who provide essential products for a range of industries, primarily oil and gas. Having experienced steady growth since their establishment over 100 years ago- to the point they have 130 employees- they are now looking for a new Mechanical Design Engineer to join their tight-knit Design team.
This varied role will see you working within the tight-knit Design team and reporting to the Engineering Manager as you produce detailed drawings for new and existing Industrial products to support the manufacturing and sales teams. You will produce detailed drawings and 2D and 3D designs as you influence projects from cradle to grave for special purpose machinery.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar who is proficient in Solidworks and ISO 9001 looking for a varied role within a specialist Manufacturer who are known for their long-term staff retention, company shares options and a generous bonus scheme.
The Role:
* Mechanical Design for special purpose machinery and equipment
* Design for prototyping and manufacturing
* Produce Technical Drawings
* Produce 2D and 3D Designs on Solidworks
* Work within tight-knit Design team- reporting to Engineering Manager
The Person:
