Central Employment is working with a Newcastle-based specialist design agency who are looking to expand its Creative team with a passionate Artworker. You’ll be using your eye for detail and creativity to support the Designers as you work together to create eye-catching pieces for clients.

Our client is looking for a passionate Creative Artworker to join the team as they continue their growth into the New Year. You’ll be working alongside experienced Designers as they create new and exciting campaigns for clients, your support in assisting them with the branding work is a key part of the success of all the work done. Each day you’ll be expected to follow the brand guidelines to create first-class digital solutions, coordinate with the creative and account teams, optimise visual content to make it more engaging, and actively contribute ideas to the team.

To be successful in this position you’ll have experience working on creative projects where you’ve been able to showcase your skill set, knowledge of Powerpoint, excellent understanding of Adobe Software, and be passionate for the work you are doing. Key Experience:

* Proven experience as a Creative Artworker, or a similar position

* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Powerpoint

* Excellent working knowledge of Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Exceptional organisational, attention to detail and time management skill.

* Strong artwork proofing and editing skills

* Understand the print process and how to set up artwork for production

* Excellent ability to manage multiple projects

* Good at problem-solving, highly organised and detail orientated

* A team player

Key Responsibilities:

* Following brand guidelines and creative direction to produce first-class design solutions for marketing
communications

* Coordinating with creative and account teams to ensure projects are carried out effectively

* Taking responsibility for managing your workload and timeframes

* Keeping up to date with the latest visual trends

* Optimising visual content so it can be easily understood and is engaging

* Thinking creatively to expand ideas across multiple outputs

* Creation of materials for both online and offline use

* Responding promptly to managerial/client requests

* Willingness to take the initiative, be flexible and help wherever possible

* Contributing your ideas and expertise to the team
