Job Title:Gluing Operator – Signature Gluer

Location: Newcastle

Salary: £27K-£30K

Job Purpose:

Overall responsibility for the set up, running and clear down of jobs on the Signature gluing lines. Ensure quality standards are strictly adhered to during production process. Ensure daily production targets are met.

Duties

Target driven environment, basic knowledge of computers, knowledge of automated planning and electronic works instructions an advantage.
Strong quality focus, regulated environment, experience of GMP and ISO standards and strict adherence to operating procedures.
Ability to give clear instructions to assisting team members.
Ability to take responsibility for all aspects of the production line, ensuring that daily delivery targets are achieved.

Experience and Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years machine operation in busy manufacturing environment.
Experience of machine set up, re-tooling and changeover is essential.
Previous experience of running a Signature machines is desirable.

General knowledge of machine operation and safety issues is essential
