Interim Finance Manager
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £70000 – £80000/annum
One of the Uk's largest media organisations are lookimg for a Finance Manager to support their external reporting process.
Responsibilities
Supporting Finance throughout the implementation of process and accounting policies, monitoring compliance and reviewing ongoing applicability and appropriateness of changes
Support Head of Financial Control in devising & communicating accounting policies for key areas impacting the business
Build strong relationships with finance colleagues around the organisation to ensure transparency and accuracy in reporting of numbers, risks and opportunities, and to understand as-is state, and where the pain points are within reporting and accounting
Ongoing review and scrutiny of balance sheet and balance sheet reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliation reporting and compliance monitoring
Policy management and document archiving
Prepare accounting papers on treatment and process of more complex areas to be reviewed internally as well as having audit sign-off
Supporting Head of Financial Control in full oversight over audit actionsKey Requirements
Qualified chartered accountant (ACA or equivalent)
Financial reporting expert, specifically within FRS 102
Proactive approach with a can-do attitude
Confident communicator with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
High standards of presentational skills, particularly in preparing accounting papers and relevant presentations
