Salary : £11.55/hour

We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative near Sittingbourne. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods for our customers and hauliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and prepare goods for customers and hauliers’ collection.
Loading, unloading trucks operating an electric pallet truck.
Pick and check customer orders for out-loading, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Receive products from production and allocate them to designated storage areas or prepare for out-loading vehicle collections.
Conduct daily/monthly stock checks and rotation of shelf life products.
Input returns of packaging materials daily, ensuring accurate records for each customer or product.
Out-load packaging materials with correct information checked and signed off when distributed to customers daily.
Maintain physical fitness to thrive in a fast-moving chilled warehouse environment.
Prepare despatch documentation and maintain inventory records of old and new despatch reports on a daily basis.
Load vehicles/hauliers in the yard or warehouse despatch areas.
Ensure the yard is kept tidy with the Clean As You Go policy.
Actively contribute and engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to job tasks and duties.
Ensure inbound/outbound stock is recorded accurately and sent to the correct locations.
Conduct stock checks and restocking of certain products in various chilled CA cold stores daily due to space requirements.
Pro actively use initiative and possess good communication skills.
Perform any ADHOC duties required by the Supervisor or Manager.
Experience using a PPT electric ride-on pallet truck.
Experience and a license for using a forklift.
Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a warehouse operative role.
Physical fitness for working in a fast-paced chilled warehouse environment.
Proactive with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience with PPT electric ride-on pallet trucks and forklifts.
OWN TRANSPORT DUE TO LOCATION IS ESSENTIAL.
