Job Overview
Ward Catering assistant
We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as Hosts/Hostesses. As a Host/Host in a hospital, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on the right foot.
Shifts are Monday to Friday 7am -3pm on an ongoing Temp basis. Other shift paterns will also be availible.
Responsibilities
– Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanour
– proving patients with menus, taking the cards to Kitchen team to prepare their meals
– Ensure cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
– Provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns
-Deliver ordered meals to patients paying particular attention to dietary requirements
-Clearing all trays and catering equipment to the stations
-Transporting catering waste to waste area.
Requirements to the role
– Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential
– Knowledge of food safety is a plus
– Basic DBS
– Full Registration with Contract Options
– Allergen certificate and food safety certificate
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and ability to handle guest requests efficiently
