My client is a local school in the Grantham area who are looking for experienced Tutors to work on-line with their secondary age students delivering English and/or Maths Monday to Friday.
Generally Tutoring will take place in the pupil's home, a school or a local Children's centre with a guardian or parent present, you deliver English or Maths depending on your specialism in line with the National Curriculum, Tutoring can last anything from a few mornings for several weeks up to a term depending on the circumstances therefore you should be prepared to commit to a student on a long term basis. Some students may have medical needs and require tutoring until a suitable school place has been found for them or the students you work with could generally be struggling in a traditional school environment and require guided assistance.It is your preference what platform you use to deliver the tuition, TEAMS, Zoom, Skype etc but all tuition will be on line.
To be considered ideally you should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a recognised Teaching qualification such as a PGCE, Bachelor of Education, GTP, Certificate in Education etc. Post 16 Qualifications are also considered but what is key is your experience!
Applications are welcome from experienced Teachers/Tutors who have experience of delivering any of the following subjects, English, Science or Maths to low ability Secondary age students.
All Tutors who register with Travail Education will have 2 years professional references taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check and be registered on the DBS Update Service, you will be required to attend a face to face registration and you must provide details of your employment history any employment breaks must be explained. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks in line with our safeguarding procedures.
