Geography Teacher
Job Type : Contract, Temporary, Part Time, Part Time
Salary : £120 – £180/day
Travail Education are a family run Education Recruitment specialist based in Grantham and we're working with a local academy who have a requirement for a full time, temporary Geography Teacher for the next 10 weeks or so . The post is 5 days per week and would suit an experienced Geography Teacher or an Early Career Teacher.
Preference is to find a Geogrpahy specialist but the school would be happy to appoint a qualified Teacher with a broad Humanities background. As this is a full time post you will be expected to plan and mark as required but PPA time will be made available to you.
Travail Education are currently looking for an enthusiastic Geography Teacher who can deliver Geography to GCSE level but the timetable predominately consists of KS3 pupils.
The school is very popular and oversubscribed and has modern facilities. The department is run extremely well and foster a strong support network.

To be considered in this role you will need:
To be fully qualified to PGCE, or equivalent KS3/KS4 Geography Teacher with full UK Qualified Teacher Status (UK QTS)
An in date, fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Your CV must cover the last 2 years of employment history and any employment breaks must be explained
Traceable references within the last 2 years
Strong National Curriculum knowledge
