Seven Social Care is looking for a Tree Surgeon in Walsall
The role:
Salary: £13.41 per hour; 37 hours per week
Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Tree Surgeon on a temporary, 3-month on-going basis for Walsall Council.
Tree Surgeon duties are including but not exclusive to:
– Required to undertake daily planning of works including route order and round scheduling to optimise efficiency and ensure daily allocation of work is completed within the scheduled time period and ensure resources are deployed effectively on site to optimise outputs and quality standards.
– Driving a range of vehicles up to a combined MAM of 7.5 tonne (C1 category)
– To carry out a range of tree work including planting, crown raising, urban pruning, reductions, thinning, dismantling, felling and stump grinding, to a high standard and in line with industry best practice and BS3998.
– To operate and provide services in accordance with the 'Urban Forestry Strategy' for the Council. Maintenance of the tree risk for the council's tree stock. Walsall's tree stock as individual trees, groups and woodlands (as in the Urban Forestry Strategy).
– Ensure that maintenance of our trees is managed in a professional manner undertaking appropriate works giving due consideration to health and requirements of the trees.
Essential Requirements: UK Driving Licence is required for this role
