Transport Planner
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £25000/annum 4 day Rolling shift pattern
A Transport Planner is required to work permanently for a national organisation based on the outskirts of Lichfield.

We're looking for an experienced Transport Planner ideally from the food industry who can work 07:30 am – 7:30pm 4 days straight and then 4 days off. (THIS WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS)
Role and Responsibilities
• To plan routes for articulated vehicles
• Ensure driver legalisation is always met
• Debrief drivers daily
• Communicate with all sites
• Liaise with hauliers depots and drivers daily
• Be able to plan a minimum of 20 units and trailers per day
• General transport admin
To be successful in this role, the following skills / experience are required
• Previous Transport Planning experience
• Good geographical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Organised
• Knowledge of driver legislation
• Good problem solving skills
• Able to work under pressure
This role will be full time working on a shift pattern 4 days on and 4 days off, 7:30-19:30
