Our Client, based in Stoke on Trent, are a very well established and thriving company that supply products to the public and private sectors.
They are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join their team in Trentham, on a fixed term contract until approx. October 2024.
Duties:
* Planning & arranging transportation of manufactured goods.
* Booking in deliveries with customers.
* Achieving the best cost effective shipments.
* Multi-tasking which requires strong attention to detail & administrative skills.
* Preparing drivers delivery notes.
* Liaising with Production & Customer service to ensure OTIF is achieved.
* Quote jobs for overseas deliveries and arrange once manufactured.
* Data input for delivery log must be accurate & up to date.
* KPI’s & despatch analysis.
Skills Required:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Customer service Experience.
* Administrative experience.
* Adaptability.
* Ability to manage multitasking.
* Strong organisation & time keeping skills.
* Confident with Excel.
* Motivated / use own initiative.
* Geographic experience would be beneficial.
* Must be able to work alone & within a small team.
Hours of work:
* Monday – Friday 8:30-17:00
