Direct Recruitment (Midlands) Limited is looking to appointment of an experienced Administrator. If you have a proven background and strong skill set in administration and customer service or sales then it would be great to hear from you! this role is Monday to Friday 9am- 3pm covering a 9-12 month MATERNITY COVER
Administrators Position Overview
* Working with spreadsheets and Sage, responsible for sales and purchase ledgers, posting invoices and payments as necessary
* Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct, and correspond to appropriate bank accounts.
* Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries
* Managing petty cash transactions & produce monthly petty cash report & cash count
* Reconcile credit card statements and reconcile PO’s/receipts as appropriate to expenditure and ensure records are maintained
* Controlling credit and chasing debt / contact customers chase overdue debtors & keep accurate records – Send monthly customer statements as appropriate
* Reconciling finance transactions, all accounts, provide bank reconciliation reports weekly
* Prepare monthly supplier payments list in line with terms agreed and prepare bank payments for Director authorisation
* Ensure Regulatory requirements are met by submitting monthly EC Sales List and Quarterly VAT returns as appropriate
* Performing general administration duties – filing and photocopying
* Data Input
* Handling incoming calls and acting as a first point of contact for sales enquiries
* Customer service
* Greeting visitors/Candidates
Administrators Position Requirements
* Previous Administration experience is needed
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Good planning and organizing skills
* Positive “can do” attitude
* Flexible and adaptable
* Team Player
* Attention to detai
Working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
