The role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Tractor Driver to join our team based at our Denby depot. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, flexible, willing to learn and who wants to make a difference and drive standards.
Main responsibilities for a Tractor Driver.
General maintenance of sites – grass cutting, hedge cutting, scarifying and Verti draining of pitches and fields
Use of a range of hand and powered equipment and ride-on mowers
Ensure company H&S policies are adhered to
Making sure all daily checks have been completed on relevant plant and machinery.
Completion of all necessary job records
Any other duties which may be required
The Tractor driver will have:
· Tractor and ancillary equipment knowledge and experien
· Experience of commercial or amenity horticulture
· Good communication and liaison skills
· Clean current driving licence
· Flexible
· Experience of towing a trailer
Desirable:
· Knowledge of fine turf surfaces
· Possession of PA1 and PA6 Pesticide Application Certificates
· Understanding of the technical aspects of grounds maintenance, ie, specifications and health and safety requirements
· Good plant knowledge
· Horticultural qualification
· Experience in Grounds Maintenance
