We have an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Project Manager to join a growing client in the live events sector, based in Biggleswade.
The Role:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of technical projects within the live events sector. Working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams, you will ensure that all projects are executed to the highest standards, meeting client expectations and surpassing industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
Collaborating with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Managing resources, including coordinating with technicians, contractors, and suppliers.
Overseeing technical aspects such as audio-visual (AV) setups, equipment installations, and production logistics.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Monitoring project progress and resolving any issues or obstacles that arise.
Conducting post-event evaluations and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
Proven experience within the live events industry.
Strong knowledge of audio-visual (AV) systems, event production, and technical equipment.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and risk management practices.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site project management.
