Support Worker
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £9 – £12/hour
Active Sen are looking for a support worker based in Westerham.
This a residential school for kids with complex needs and physical disabilities, these students will stay from Monday – Friday at the school and then do return back to their own homes Friday. The students are aged from 4 – 19.
This is one of the best residential schools for students with complex needs and physical disabilities, it has a good Ofsted report and has gained an amazing reputation over the duration it has been running.
The school strives to bring fourth the best in students and support them to their full potential in them for their academics, is it very rewarding to be working at this school and offers a very competitive rate and flexible hours, with a permanent role for the right candidate.
For this role the following is required:
* A online DBS
* Previous work experience in the support worker area
* Moving and and handling training
* Any other qualification for support work is an advantage e.g. level 1, 2, 3, 4
* Previous experience working with sen
For this role the following is expected:
* Someone who will be able to support the children throughout their day
* Be able to help them with their day to day routines
* Be able to do personal care
* Be able to be flexible with hours
* Bring a fun and safe environment to the students
* Help teach the students skills they can keep throughout their life
