Streetworks Compliance Inspector

Salary : £24000 – £29000/annum Company car, pension, hols
Our client has a great opportunity for a Streetworks Compliance Inspector, to join their responsive and resilient team capable of fulfilling a wide range of services. The role will involve monitoring the compliance of those working on the highway, liaising with our Streetworks & Permitting team, and responding to inquiries from Herefordshire Council and members of the public, and more.
The role will require the daily use of professional judgement within the framework of the Safety at Streetworks and Road Works code of Practice (Red Book), the specification for Reinstatement of Highways (SROH), the New Roads & Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA) and the associated requirements of the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA) to ensure that the Council provides an effective network management service.
