We’re hiring for an experienced Stores Person with a background in engineering or manufacturing to join a global manufacturer based in the High Peak. With more than 60 years’ experience this company have some of the most up to date manufacturing facilities in the world and are well-known in their industry for their strong focus on continuous improvement, quality, and innovation.
What's on offer?
* £11.37 per hour
* 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday (36 hours per week)
* Overtime on Fridays
* 25 Days holiday plus bank holidays
* 4% pension contribution
* Sick pay up to 16 weeks depending on length of service
* Free on-site parking
What will you be doing as a Storesperson?
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely whilst operating a Forklift Truck
* Checking the quality of components and reporting any problems
* Moving stock around the factory using overhead cranes and jibs
* Stock control and organisation
What do you need?
* A valid Counterbalance license with some work experience
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
* Be methodical, organised, and meticulous
* Have experience of operating overhead cranes (desirable)
* Have experience of software programs such as Sanderson Unity or similar (desirable)
