Salary : £11.79/hour + Overtime

We are currently hiring for an experienced Welder with a background in engineering or manufacturing to join a global manufacturer based in the High Peak.
With more than 60 years’ experience this company have some of the most up to date manufacturing facilities in the world and are well-known in their industry for their strong focus on continuous improvement, quality and innovation.
What's on offer?
* £11.45 per hour
* Monday – Thursday 8.00 to 16.30 Friday 8.00 to 13.00 (37hrs per week)
The Welder will be responsible for:
* Interpreting engineering drawings
* Fabrication of metal
* MIG welding
The ideal Welder will be:
* Time served and have experience of working as a fabricator within heavy manufacturing
* Able to read and work from engineering drawings
* Able to work with minimum supervision and be prepared to work overtime
* Familiar working with 3mm up to 30mm mild steel plate using MIG/MAG welding sets
* Experience of using overhead cranes is beneficial
